I’m still rediscovering life as a single woman, and one thing I’ve promised myself is to make every second matter. As I look back on my June trip to New Jersey, I can see my growth and feel proud of how I turned a simple work trip into moments of joy and adventure.

The trip started with a delicious lunch at Bonefish Grill before settling into my hotel room to get some work done. The next day was all business until I closed my laptop and treated myself to dinner at Seasons 52. The food was amazing, but what felt even better was allowing myself to slow down and truly enjoy the moment.
By the third day, I had found my rhythm. After finishing my morning tasks, I grabbed lunch at Mabel’s and then headed to Escapology for a little thrill and puzzle-solving fun. Later that evening, I let my creative side shine at a Sip and Paint session at Pinot’s Palette, a glass of wine in one hand and a paintbrush in the other. It was pure, unfiltered joy, the kind that reminds you that life can be beautiful in the simplest of ways.

On my final day, I wrapped up my work and shared a cheerful lunch with my team at On the Border. Before heading to the airport, I made one last quick stop at José Tejas, a small indulgence to end the trip on a high note. By the time I boarded my flight home, I felt tired but deeply grateful, carrying with me the memories of a trip that was so much more than just work.

This trip reminded me that growth isn’t always about big milestones; it’s also about embracing small joys, finding balance, and saying yes to new experiences. And as I continue this journey of rediscovery, I know one thing for sure, I deserve to live fully, love deeply, and keep creating moments that make my heart smile.

I like the way that you turn life into an adventure worth living. Thanks for inspiring.
I have learned to appreciate each moment, and pour all the love that I deserve to myself.
