“The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are”. Joseph Campbell
October is ending soon; in two months, we will say goodbye to 2020, a year that has challenged us in so many ways. Honestly, I am exhausted from all the hardships of this brutal year. It is difficult for me to remain motivated.
“Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself and know that everything in this life has a purpose. There are no mistakes, no coincidences. All events are blessings to us to learn from”. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
I have realized that I am the only one who can push myself up. I have searched for motivational quotes and, I want to share them with you. If you feel like this year has a toll on you, know that you are not alone, but we must move forward no matter what. As Aly Railman said: “The hard days are what make us stronger”.
“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great“. Zig Ziglar
“The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones“. Confucius.
I have decided that I may not be able to change my circumstances right now, but I will adapt and make the best of life.
“If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change, change your attitude“. Maya Angelou
I want to continue to grow and no matter how hard it is, I will continue to move forward.
“Anything you can imagine you can create“. Oprah Winfrey
“Don’t limit your challenges, challenge your limits“. Jerry Dunn
“You become what you believe. You are where you are today in your life based on everything you have believed“. Oprah Winfrey
“Gratitude turns what we have into enough“. Unknown
I am grateful for being there and trying to make it. I am enjoying the little things and hope you are doing the same. Be safe, be well!
I love this. I have been getting out into nature more and it’s really good for me, even though it is FREEZING out right now.
Like my mom always reminds me “we adapt and adjust.” I love that you are focused and you have such an amazing attitude.
Such gorgeous pics. It’s insane that this year is almost over. What happened ?!? We need a redo lol!

It’s definitely been an interesting year full of ups and downs. While it’s been hard at times, it’s also given us a new outlook on things and realizing what’s truly important to me and to my family.

I feel like I needed this post today. I can’t believe 2020 is almost over, it has for sure been a hear full of surprises and adjustments. My favorite quote on this list is “Gratitude turns what we have into enough“. Unknown. That is so very true and I am glad I have this reminder as Thanksgiving is coming. Despite everything going on, we still have our loved ones beside us. Thanks for sharing.

This is such a timely post that applies to so many of us during this extremely challenging year. I love the great quotes you have included here that are so apt, given the situation we all find ourselves in, no matter where we are in the world. This just helps in putting things in perspective and moving forward with a better attitude and a more positive outlook.
Silence and connection to that deep part of myself is important to me. Doing it every day. Thank you for gorgeous messages and flowers.
This is beautiful. Thanks for sharing your thoughts- this post is so peaceful with all your pictures.
Thank you so much for sharing this! This year has been very unique but I agree with you, whether this year has been good or bad is how we have chosen to use our and adapt to these circumstances. We’ll never have perfect scenarios so might as well make the best of any situation!

great post! very motivational indeed! silence is golden to me as well
“The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones”… this particularly speaks to me, as I have perfectionist tendencies that keep stifling my brightest ideas. Thanks.
Adapting is something I think we’ve all done a lot this year. Keeping a good attitude can be difficult sometimes, but we learn to adapt to the situation.
agree with those quotes,,,but heres one that bothers me……what you can imagine you can create….it depends on what resources you have….the cost of it,the skills that you need,,might need a partner too
I really enjoyed reading this article! I actually read a few of Elizabeth Kubler-Ross’s works in university (the white you opened with was by her), and I’d highly recommend it!

I remain grateful for life. Every morning I wake up, is a blessing, especially at this time. I really thought 2020 was going to be amazing. Well, in some ways it is, I guess. It depends on how you’re seeing it.
This is such a beautiful and much-needed post. I think 2020 has been difficult for most of us, and trying to find joy and gratitude is an excellent way to end the year.
