Lose yourself in nature and find peace. Ralph Emerson

Walking in the park, breathing some fresh air, and listening to the sounds of nature brings me joy and a sense of peace that I cannot describe.
When was the last time you connect with nature? Do you have a favorite quote about nature? I would love to hear from you.

I love being outdoors and frequently go for walks not only to take in the sights, but to enjoy the quiet. This is why I’m looking forward to spring – so I can be out in nature once again.
Absolutely, Amanda, these two pictures, I took Saturday and it seems it was me and nature alone.
We connected with nature on Sunday. We headed to the park as a family and got dirty from the grass and dirt.
This is quality time, Shirley.
I love taking our kids on hikes! So good to get fresh air
Same thing for us, Lindsay.
oh how I love nature, I think this mama really needs to reconnect with the nature.
You should, Liza.
I am outside all the time, but always chasing a toddler. I don’t do this often enough, but have great memories of hiking alone in NZ when I was there. Great way to relax!
Lisa, I remembered those days, I used to take the kids in the park and run after them, now I am thinking about it, it brings a smile to my face.
My Master’s Degree is in Park & Resource Management, so the outdoors has a special place in my heart! Nature is very important to me and I hope that we can learn to connect better with our natural environment.
Being outdoors brings me joy and peace, and just like you, Marysa, it has a special place in my heart, and we can relate. That’s a beautiful degree you have, congrats.
Love that first quote. One of my goals this year was to stretch myself out of my comfort zone and take pictures outside. It means walking around and exploring my area so that I can find hidden places away from people to take said pictures. It has been an amazing thing to do.
I can’t wait to read and look at your pictures, Angela, I love reading your blog.
The weather hasn’t been great for exploring lately because my youngest son and I absolutely despise the cold. But next week the kids are on spring break and we plan to get out and go to some of the parks around us. We love to go exploring/hiking.
Stephanie, it’s cold here in Jersey, but I have to go and connect with nature even if it’s for a short time.
Love the photos! I always carve time out for some walks to the park as it truly helps clear my mind. Nature provides a gentle relief from the stresses of this world.
I am blessed to be surrounded by many beautiful parks. I have to connect with nature to find peace.
I WISH I lived in a place that had nice parks but not so much here in LA. I do have the luxury of going home to WY whenever I want though so that certainly helps my outlook!
I have never been to LA, I heard it’s beautiful, but I love going to the parks, so I guess, I would not be able to live there permanently, Gigi.
I absolutely love taking walks through the woods or someplace quiet. It gives me the opportunity to stop and appreciate everything around me.
So do I, Natasha.
My favorite is taking daily walks with my daughter in her stroller, or on nearby hiking trails with the whole family. We have so many beautiful parks and trails available nearby!
Those moments are priceless, Jessica.
I love taking walks along the river, but in winter it takes a lot of willpower and pep talk to go for anything longer than 10 minutes around the block. That’s why I’m really counting days to spring. Oh and autumn walk in the forest are amazing. The carpet of diverse colours is fascinating.
Same here, Nancy!
Beautiful pictures! Nothing beats some one on one time with nature and just enjoying the beauty God created for us to enjoy.
Thank you, Ingrid, I agree with you!
These pictures of nature are so beautiful! I loved reading this uplifting post this morning!!!
Thank you, Angela, I took them Saturday night at the park.
Even taking a walk at park or near a lake is breath-taking. It gives me a moment of peace and serenity.
I can relate to you Kristyn, On Saturdays, after working 9 hours at the hospital, I usually stop at the park to breathe before coming home.
I should have went on my walk this morning, maybe I’d be a little more upbeat at the moment! Maybe I’ll quick run outside to lose myself in nature and find peace! walks are my go-to when stressed/bummed ; ) thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you, Eloise, I do the same and I regain strength to go to my crazy life.
A walk through nature is always refreshing for the body but also for the soul. It is in the quite place that you connect with God and just be in awe of His creation.
Absolutely, Sarah, those moments with nature are the best remedy for my soul.
