I live by Maya Angelou’s quote “I have learned that I still have a lot to learn”. I make it my mission to increase my knowledge and learn something new every day. Most importantly I am always open to sharing what I’ve learned with others to reinforce what I know.

I have so many things I want to see, do, and learn in life. I like to read books in the evenings to improve myself in life, as a parent, as a wife, as a blogger, as an entrepreneur… I never read about the same subject twice in a row so I don’t get overwhelmed.

I love these quotes especially the one by TD Jakes!!! It is so true and I try to take trips often to learn other cultures and environments. Only so much can be learned from a book or the internet before we have to get out there and “get into the world”

Great post! You know what a lot of people say “The older the wiser,” but I think that is false. See the older one gets the more they realize they still have a lot to learn, when you are young your slightly ignorant and don’t see things with experience. I once had a patient tell me “The older I get the dumber I get because the more I realize I need to learn.” He was right!
So true, Leah, in my opinion, the more mature we get, the more we see things different, and the more eager we are to learn and do things well.
