It’s a typical Wednesday at the Nazaire Family. Unfortunately, I did not make my weekly meal plan, and I have no idea of what to make for dinner tonight. Thankfully, I have some pork chops in the fridge to save the night.
Juicy Pork Chops with Peach Sauce
Ingredients
4 center-cut boneless pork loin chops, trimmed
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 peaches, pits removed and cut into ¼ inch slices
1 shallot
1 green bell pepper
2 tsp honey
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup white wine
Salt, pepper, pepper flakes
Preparation
Season the meat with salt and pepper. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the extra virgin olive oil, and swirl to coat. Add chops to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side or until nicely browned. Remove the chops and keep them warm. Add the shallots, bell pepper, and peaches to the skillet; cook for 2 minutes. Stir in wine and bring to a boil. Stir in broth and honey; bring to a boil. Cook until reduced for 2 minutes. Pour the sauce over the pork chops, place in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
It was simply delicious, we pair with some salad and boiled plantain.

So do I, Kate.
No way!!! This looks SO yummy, and I thought, “Oh goody maybe I can get my hubby to make this on the weekend” (he literally spends all day Saturday cooking an elaborate meal as his “relaxation”) – but then I read it and I see it’s easy and fast enough for a weeknight?!? Thanks for the super recipe, Marjie! 🙂
