December 2019, counting my blessings

And just like that, we are in December 2019

The year 2019 flew by, and I cannot believe we are at its last month. It was such an incredible year for my family and me. We are thankful for everything and will not let the many challenges that we have faced overcast our many blessings.  Today is another present to cherish, and we want to share it with you.

Most of us have many plans for this month, remember to slow down and enjoy the moment.  Heading into this festive season of giving can be stressful.  It is very important to take a minute to breathe and hold tight onto love, joy, and peace.

Often, we tend to lose momentum and forget the true meaning of this magical time of year.  Before spending a fortune in material gifts, remember what matters the most in life is usually priceless. Take the time to call that uncle, visit that aunt, go to your child school to read a book, and help a neighbor.  I am sure a simple act of love and caring will have an everlasting impact and will transform their holiday.

Again, let me reiterate how grateful I am for all of you who took the time to visit my blog, comment, and click through it for those past two years. I wish you and your family the happiest and loveliest holiday season.

Peace!

  3. Merry Christmas! It’s kinda heartbreaking to see so much focus on gifts, material possessions, etc. during a holiday that we often refer to with such love. When did society as a whole start to shift from showing care and compassion during the holiday season to shoving one another out of the way unapologetically to get to the latest sale? Thank you for the reminder to take a step back and reevaluate.
