August 2025 flew by in what felt like a blink, but it was anything but empty. Every week seemed to bring a new moment to savor, the kind of memory that makes you pause and smile long after it has passed.
One of my favorite highlights was the Miami Salsa Congress with my two amazing salsero friends. From the moment the music started, we danced like the night would never end. There’s a magic in salsa for me; it’s not only my therapy, it’s not just steps and turns, it’s joy, connection, and pure freedom. By the end of the weekend, our feet were aching, but our hearts were so full.

The third weekend of August, I headed to New Jersey for a weekend that filled my soul. I soaked in every moment with my family and spent hours catching up with my childhood friends. Something is healing about sitting with people who’ve seen every version of you and still love you exactly as you are.

And then there was something totally unexpected: Yelp’s Pajamas party at The Breakfast Company. The moment I walked in, the cozy vibe and warm chatter felt like a hug. Imagine all the comfy family food and perfectly chilled mimosas sparkling like little celebrations in a glass. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience. I laughed, savored, and shared the moment with a room full of food enthusiasts who were simply happy to be there. It’s events like these that remind me how much magic happens when you step out and try something new.

Of course, the month wasn’t without its challenges. But I’m learning to see those moments as part of my growth, little reminders that strength often comes quietly, in how we keep showing up.
And through it all, no matter how busy or unpredictable life gets, one thing remains constant: salsa is my happy place. The music, the movement, the freedom, it’s where my heart feels at home.
Here’s to a month of dancing, growing, connecting, and saying yes to experiences that make life beautifully full.
What about you? 🌸 What was your favorite moment from August, or a “say yes” experience that filled your heart? Share it in the comments; I’d love to hear your story!
