I cannot believe August is upon us. The year 2019 is slowly coming to its end. Whether we like it or not, we must step up and be ready for new challenges, new adventures, new opportunities, and new hope that 2020 will bring us.

July was a wonderful month for me. Besides celebrating my birthday, my family and I enjoyed a beautiful vacation to reconnect and appreciate each other. I promised my kids that I will be fully present during our getaway and I kept my promise until the last day.
Now, I am back in reality and ready to welcome August 2019 with the hope that I will make each moment count. I have procrastinated and took a lot of time off to deal with some personal issues. I can no longer dwell on things that I cannot change. I need to focus on the future and strive to be better as I know it’s not enough to be good when I can still work on becoming the best version of myself.
We are all in control of our dreams and August is the perfect month to make them happen. This is the perfect time to start anew. We all have the ability to be great and the time is now.

Are you determined to achieve success this month? What are your plans? Did you hit some roadblock and decide to stay behind to redefine your goals like me? We have done so, now we have to move on. I am right there with you in that fight and can assure you that we can do it. Together, we will go far, let’s support each other.
Happy Month of August
August is a lucky month for me since it’s the #8 in the calendar though some say it’s ghost month and things can sometimes go wrong this month, but for me it’s different, what I feel when August came is that it eventually welcome BER months(BER months in our country is the start of christmas season), and BER months is where we actually feel happy as it already nears us to family gatherings and reunions and more. I am claiming that August will be a wonderful month and so the next months to come cheers!
I like your positive attitude and will join you to claim that August will be a wonderful month for us.
It’s amazing how fast the days just go back. Feels like January 1st was just days ago. I hope the following days come with beautiful surprises.
That’s the way I feel too, Viano!
It’s so great to see someone else who has a monthly goal setting ritual! I definitely have big plans for August and am looking forward to the progress each month brings.
I hope you achieve all your goals, Liz!
I really can’t believe that it is August already, I feel like I have done nothing for my 2019 goals haha but kidding aside, time really goes by so fast.
Time is going way too fast, Amy!
I started my month off well with a little mini vacation with my daughter. I don’t get to do these nearly often enough but they are such great things to do. And so much fun to be honest. Will have to plan more. And yes there is still a ton left in the year to be able to do.
If I could, I will take a mini-vacation every month, David!
My eldest son’s birthday is this month and although he is a grown man, we still make it a point to celebrate it as a family! After all, everyone deserves a birthday cake! August is always a long month (5 weeks!) so that gives us a lot of time to plan for the rest of the year.
Happy Birthday to your son, Kristine!
I can’t believe how fast this year seems to be flying by. My boys start back at school in a week here and we are all ready. We had a wonderful three week vacation to Florida last month and it was great family time together.
This is our first start starting school in August, it is an adjustment for my younger daughter, wishing your sons a successful school year, Stephanie!
It’s my birth month but I just wish all your best to this month to achieve your plans 🙂 Have a great month 🙂
Hope you had a blast for your birthday! Happy birthday, Maysz!
The year is winding down? Nooooo! – I still have too much to do!!! I’m sorry you’ve had some stuff on your plate to work through, but am glad you’ve decided to try to move forward and move on. (Happy belated, BTW!)
Thank you, Flossie!
It’s almost September now…. anyway, August was really good for me. Busy but great. I’ve gotten lots of new interesting cases in the clinic (I’m a dentist) and I’m closing a few of them in the next few days.
And then I finally got a domain for my new blog and everything seems to be going really well. Now I’m quite excited for September to be honest as I have 2 scheduled vacations… and I really feel I deserve some break!
I am really happy for you, Crickette, I wish you all the best in your blog, and I can’t wait to follow and read your post.
The year has flown by and is also incredibly close to the end. Time to just enjoy the end of summer!
We definitely need to do that, Wren!
It’s so hard not to dwell on things outside of our control, but living life in the moment helps you appreciate everything. I can’t believe it’s almost September!
Same here, Whitney, September is at the door!
I can’t believe it’s already the end of August! That’s great you took some time this summer for a vacation with your family!
A little vacation always bring joy, Lori!
I usually take off December for Christmas. Now, I took off much of Summer to spend time with my son.
I bet your son was happy, Liz!
I still can’t believe that August is almost over. I’m glad that you got to spend some downtime with your family. I’ve spent the month focusing on getting ready for law school next month.
Good luck in your law studies, Chi!
September here we come! August was pretty awesome for me. I moved into a new place, worked hard and got great reviews for my work, went to the state fair with my kiddos (MN has the BEST State Fair ; ) )
I cannot wait to see what’s in store for Sept.
Hope you have a great next month too!
It seems like someone had an amazing month of August, much more success for September, Eloise.

Good luck, Melanie!
