December was such a sweet way to close out a challenging year 2025. As I look back, my heart is full, full of gratitude, growth, healing, and moments that gently reminded me that beauty often shows up right when we need it most. These moments didn’t just help me end the year well; they set the tone for a hopeful and abundant 2026.
The month began with a meaningful four-day work trip to New Jersey and our team’s holiday luncheon. To celebrate my team’s dedication and show them my appreciation, I hosted our lunch at Maddie Rose at the Liberty House. It was a beautiful time of connection, laughter, and gratitude for the work we do together.
Even though it was a work trip, I still carved out a moment to spend a night in New York City and visit the Christmas tree, a simple yet magical experience that never loses its wonder. Standing there, surrounded by twinkling lights, festive decorations, and the joyful energy of the crowd, felt like a quiet pause to take it all in.

One of the most touching highlights of December was volunteering at a nursing home with my fellow salseros. We danced, laughed, and shared music with the residents, bringing a bit of joy into their day. Along with our dancing, we brought Christmas gifts, but the real gift was the shared energy, the smiles, the clapping, the moments of connection that reminded me how powerful it is to give joy freely.
December also marked a major personal milestone: completing my MSN after 20 months of learning, stretching, and growing. This journey required discipline, faith, and perseverance, and finishing it felt deeply rewarding. It was more than earning a degree; it was proof to myself that growth continues, even in seasons of change.
Another cherished tradition I was grateful to continue was my annual PJ photoshoot with my adult daughters. These moments mean more to me each year. capturing love, laughter, and the bond we share as we grow together through different seasons of life.

And of course, I ended the year doing what has been a safe haven for me over the past two years: dancing salsa. Salsa has carried me through healing, joy, and rediscovery as I navigated single life after divorce. Ending the year on the dance floor felt symbolic, grounded, joyful, and free.
I also made space to do something that brings me great joy, decorating my home and thoughtfully setting my tables. Creating a warm, beautiful space is my way of slowing down, being present, and turning everyday moments into something meaningful.

As I reflect on December and all it held, I am deeply thankful for every moment, big and small. I close this chapter with gratitude and step into 2026 open-hearted, expectant, and ready to receive all the blessings ahead.
