A New Decade, A New Journey

Three weeks have gone by slowly in this new decade filled with rich promises.  I am also entering a new chapter in my life.  I am determined to rediscover myself as I am getting ready for the next level.  I definitely want to reactivate my purpose by learning new things and embracing new ventures.

Our purpose in this life is dynamic.  Every day, we must be opened to new possibilities, new roles, and new beginnings.  I am ready to embrace all the necessary changes so I can become the best version of myself.

With all the major changes that occurred in my life recently, I managed to get the best out of 2019.  Now it’s time to bounce back and grab new opportunities.  Sometimes, you have to make drastic changes to get what you want in life.

I am sure by now, you have evaluated your own life and know exactly where you want to go. This entails some sacrifices, are you willing to leave behind whatever was holding you?  It is not going to be easy.  It might even be painful, but we are in it together.

What are your goals for the new year?  What are you anticipating to do?  What are you planning to do to take your life to the next level?  If you know the answers and are ready, let’s take the rediscovery journey together.

  1. Great article. A lot of things had happened to me in the last decade. Now I am ready for new adventure, but my goal this year is to feel better living with endometriosis.

  2. A year of reflection. Tis the time for any life changes one wants to do because tomorrow is never promised at all. Live each day as it comes.

  3. I am not making any resolutions for this new year and decade. I will work on achieving small goals and then make other smaller ones.

  4. I don’t really believe in new year goals or resolution. I’m a firm believer that if you want to achieve something, it doesn’t matter what time of the year it is. Wish you all the best in your new journey!

  5. Thank you for that motivating insight. Like you, I’m open to new possibilities. I am still in the process of discovering where exactly I want to go, but at the same time, I’m just enjoying the process and the journey itself.

  6. Reflection is always the best medicine! You can notice what you could have done better and strive for it in the future. It also teaches you, “If I lived through that past struggle, I can live through this current struggle”

  7. Awesome post.. I feel you… As a matter of fact, i did an thorough evaluation of my life this year and i can say for a fact that i know exactly where i am heading to know and know thing that i need to let go for me to be able to get there.

  8. I’m on a similar journey of aligning with my purpose and have come across so many challenges and changes. It’s been eye opening thus far. It feels amazing to be more self aware and intentional. Thank you for sharing.

  9. Such an inspirational post..!! Last year was not too bad for me, but I have a dream project now that I started in August,’19 and all I want in 2020 is the success of my dream project. I am pretty confident on it and work hard to make it successful.

  10. The new decade is a great time to reflect and also look ahead. I also have goals that help me focus on me this year. So far, I’ve been really good with one, but not the other. But, as you said, sometimes things have to be sacrificed and lately it’s been my time for journaling in favor of other self-elevating activities.

  11. My life has changed a lot last year. I had to sacrifice for a goal which I should achieve this year. It was difficult year, but I am sure that nothing happens without a reason.
