Thankful for the journey, celebrating 2 years of blogging

Today, we are celebrating Thanksgiving.  I want to take a moment to thank you all my fellow bloggers who have been on this journey with me for those past 2 years.  I am blessed to have this virtual corner where I share with you my joy, my kids, my thoughts, and my kitchen.

Your comments have filled my heart with joy and I have no words to express my gratitude towards you.

In November 2017, I decided to blog and I had neither a specific plan or a niche. I just wanted to let my imagination travel, and you took the ride with me.  It has been an amazing journey since then.

I am not a chef, but cooking brings me peace and joy. I have shared the recipes that I love with you.

I am a nurse, helping and caring for others has been my calling. I have shared what I have learned with you in Health Corner.

Just like you, I have moments that I feel overwhelmed and I usually read some quotes or inspirational quotes to lift me up.  I have also shared my favorite quotes with you.

I also realized, when I am down and don’t feel like doing anything, your comments give me the strength that I needed.  How amazing is that?

I am thankful for each of you who visit my page, comment and share my post.  From the bottom of my year, Thank you, and cheers to two years!

Marjie!

  1. Congratulations! It is always a pleasure reading your blog posts. I have tried some of your recipes, the most recent one I tried was the cheesy pasta with broccoli. My grandson did not have any issues eating the “trees” as long as it was with pasta. Haha. Wishing you more success in the coming years! Happy blogging!

    • Thank you so much, Kristine. I do the same for my daughter, as long as veggies are incorporated into the pasta, she will not mind eating them.

  2. That’s a great achievement. 2 years is pretty good going for blogging. I am sure you must enjoy sharing all these great recipes. I’ve enjoyed reading them.

  3. Congratulations on your two years of blogging. As a fellow blogger, I know just what an accomplishment it is. TO be honest, I coudn’t keep it up as much as I should with my full-time job. I greatly admire those that have made a success of blogging.

    • Thank you, Lisa, I agree, working full time makes it a little harder, but blogging brings me joy, so it’s worth loosing 2 hours of sleep.

  5. Congratulations on your blog’s second year anniversary! It’s such a great achievement. Blogging is not as easy as most people think, but at the end of the day, it’s all worth it
