It’s a rainy Friday night, I am home with my baby girl Yanah. We are undecided between reading a book or watching a movie. The weather is perfect for tea, we have some pastries, cheese, and crackers. We have all we need for the perfect mother-daughter tea party.

Spending quality time with my kids bring me the purest joy. My older one is already 21 and has her own schedule. I am holding on my little one who is growing too fast.
Tonight, it’s just the two of us and it feels good. Sometimes, we are searching for happiness while it’s the simplest thing. These simple pleasures lead to everlasting memories, we talk, we laugh while sipping tea.

It is up to us to create our memories, to do what we love, and mostly treasure our loved ones. One day, memories will be the only thing left. For me, I know reliving those moments will bring a smile to my face.
This is such a sweet and heartfelt post. It really is up to us to make the memories. Staying present in the moment and having quality time with the ones we care about is so important!
I agree, Dr. Nadia, particularly, our kids grow so fast, these little moments are priceless.
I agree! We can choose happiness or not whatever our circumstances! I love that you took your evening in and made a tea party. Sounds perfect.
Thank you, Jamie

You will be able to do that in a moment, Lisa. Toddler time is the best.
Precious moments! You’re right, it is the simple things! ?
The simple things that we are taking for granted, are so precious and bring the greatest joy, Sarah.

It’s so good to make them feel special, and mother-child time is the best way to do it, Marcie.

My daughter loves our tea time moment, Holly.
It’s so important in this busy life to just sit down and simply enjoy the company of the people that we love. Times goes by too quickly, and we need to just enjoy the moment. P.S. The sweets look so yummy!
I agree, Alissa, and the kids are growing so fast, I enjoy creating precious moments with my kids.
