The month of May is usually described as the month of love. We celebrate and honor the beautiful mothers all around the world. The first week of May is dedicated to all the caring nurses, and I am proud to be one of them.
The past two months, Covid-19 has put us through so much. These changes had a toll on everyone in some way or the other. Hopefully, the month of May will allow us to breathe again. It can be very difficult to ask for help and keep it all in. We need to remember to focus on moving through, not around, our feelings. We should talk about what’s hurting. We should reach out, and we should know it’s okay not to be okay.
We need to take some time to give ourselves some love, compassion, and some care. Self-care is so important and this is the first step to do if we want to help others. We must love ourselves and know that tomorrow will be a better and brighter day.
I hope you take time to enjoy the moment, enjoy the sunshine, enjoy the rain, enjoy the music. Love and be loved!
May is the first month I’ve really felt hopeful since all of the Covid drama. Hopefully we can all find a new normal where we can still be safe.
Such a lovely article. First of all, the pictures are stunning! Congratulations on everything you’ve achieved, from being a mother to a nurse. Sending you positive thoughts, hope, love, and all the best!

Let’s hope the month of May brings us all some positive changes.
I have not heard about May being the month of love but I like it! And I need to think more about self care. I tend to get too busy to even think about it.
Self love really is important. I hope that we all learn to live like that.
The month of May is a very special month for me because I have several friends and family members celebrating their birthdays and yeah Mother’s day celebration for my Mom. I hope this coronavirus ends soon so we can continue with out normal lives.

May is indeed, a month of love, it’s my birth month too! May this month bring us good luck, new opportunities and blessings.
The pandemic taught us many things like taking time to enjoy and cherish our life and everything we have. Take care!

The may is the start of Summer, we can say the May is the month of may because the migratory bird fly back to their original destination. I hope this may will bring some new opportunities for all of those who lost their livelihood sources due to lockdown…. Let us spread love in this May.
Excellent advice to take a step back and breathe right now. It’s a lot, especially for all the moms trying to manage everything at once!
I am finally starting to feel better after all this up in the air. I’m trying to take this month and love myself!
Great advice for this month. I am not really afraid of what is happening with COVID because I know this is temporary and anything troubles will get resolved.
Amazing, great advice. I also learned something new from your article. Thanks for sharing this.
“It’s okay not to be okay” – yes, this phrase is always a good reminder that all of us are humans with emotions and feelings. There are days that we are not being functional or not being able to pull ourselves out of our own. We feel hopeless and helpless sometimes but that is indeed normal. Thanks again for reminding me this. Take care!
Love the word, “its okay not to be okay”. Yes, the pandemic has deprived us of so many things. I keep on praying that everything will be alright soon. Keep us my dear frontliner.
Yes! I’m hoping May will bring nothing but positive vibes my way
May is indeed a lovely month. Hope we get to enjoy the rest of the month with our loved ones soon
Happy mother’s day to you beautiful and happy nurse’s day.

There is always that small thing that makes us smile even our days are quite cloudy.

Thank you!
Thank you for such a wonderful reminder. ABout taking care of ourselves. About asking for help. And about not being ok right now. I thought being a brand new mother was hard, but this is definitely an entirely different level! My boys are hurting so much emotionally right now without seeing their friends, their teachers, and their schools and there’s only so much my husband and I can do for them. We need that social interaction and being able to let go now and then.
Come to think of it, May IS a happy month – weather is warmer, flowers are blooming – and it’s so fitting it’s the month for moms and nurses! It has been tough, I can imagine more so for you at the frontlines. We appreciate you!
My favorite month!!!! I love May for all these reasons! HAPPY HAPPY MAY….
Ihave really tried to be more positive this month! ITs helpful that the weather has been GORGEOUS!
