We said goodbye to 2020, a year where so many have experienced uncertainty, vulnerability, and loss. We have learned, we have grown, and now we are ready to start anew. A brand-new year, a new beginning, new possibilities, and an opportunity to look to the future.
As we are heading bravely to 2021, this new beginning can be different, and for some, it might even be scary. What is certain is that we know we can excel above any challenge or pain. The previous obstacles have strengthened us and now it’s time to create space for new and better things to emerge in our lives. All we must do is focusing on ourselves, be positive, and live freely.
Let’s take care of and support each other, and together, we can find ways to succeed beautifully in 2021.
Before toasting to the year ahead, I want to share these four inspiring quotes with you.
“All great beginnings start in the dark when the moon greets you to a new day at midnight.” Shannon L. Alder
“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream”. CS Lewis
“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” Zig Ziglar
“Every story has an end, but in life, every end is just a new beginning”. Unknown
Happy New Beginning!
Really would love to see 2021 be a better year for everyone.
Sharing the same sentiment, Knashz!
I am really hoping 2021 is a better year! I was so happy to leave 2020 behind.
Me too, Crystal!
Honestly, I feel so blessed that 2020 was a fantastic year for me and my family. We were very fortunate. I do hope 2021 is even better though. Cheers to a great year ahead!
Cheers, Jody!
Wish you a very blessed and happy new year!!! We all have to believe that 2021 is gonna be an amazing year.
I agree!
We all need a new beginning. I am working on eating healthier!
That is awesome, Renee!
I like the fact that every new month brings with it this sort of new beginning, we all need this. Wish this will be a better year for everyone. – Paolo
I am hoping for the same, Paolo!
We can only hope for a better tomorrow. 2020 was a whirlwind, and it was such a shocking and difficult year. We can only move forward and up!
I agree, Mae!
Sadly, until now, the new year is rather disappointing – more lockdowns, stricter rules…that’s not what I was hoping for. Nevertheless, since there are still a couple of days left of 2021, it might get better 😉
I am so hopeful that this year will be better. I want to say it can’t get much worst but I don’t want to jinx things.
Yes, the year 2020 wasn’t the year we expect and so much had happened. For all of us, the year 2021 is a year of hope. Cheers to new beginnings and better year!
Love the quotes and especially agree with the starting out to be great. You’ll never know what you can achieve if you don’t start l!
This has been a rollercoaster of a year. 2021 isn’t starting out very well either. But what can we do, but make the most out of what we have. I hope everyone who reads this comment appreciates what they have and uses it to make 2021 a fantastic year either way.
True, we learned a lot and now we are ready for a new great start with 2021. I hope it will be better for all of us!
Praying this year is a better year for all. I know its starting off rough but I believe it will turn around.
So excited to be starting a new year with a fresh perspective!
I’m hoping that 2021 will be a better year for us and healing for those who are sick.
It’s only natural to start 2021 with some trepidation, but this is very thoughtful and soul-lifting, Marjie. Thank you.
I am feeling positive that 2021 will be better than 2020, even though it has not started off that well… I feel there is still so much to look forward to.
Unfortunately 2021 won’t be any better, with the new covid-19 variant we should expect more death. Unfortunately Zambia has already started recording more than 10 deaths pay day.
I am hopeful that 2021 will be a positive year even if we havent had the most positive start! I think the Shannon L. Alder quote really resinates with me this year!
Great quotes! Thanks for sharing! Here’s to hoping 2021 is a much better year.
Thank you and Happy year 2021!
Amen girl! Absolutely here’s to new beginnings and kindness in all of our hearts to one another
Yes to that!

I am hoping for a great one too!
2020 is definitely one of my unforgettable years, I have a lot of bad and good experiences. As we are all in this new beginning, I am wishing and praying for all the good things that are going to happen for everyone. Nice quotes, thank you!
2020 has been a rough year but there was a positive. It made us value family, friends and life in general. Let’s start over in 2021 with a hopeful and grateful heart💜
to have made it here. Thank you for a beautiful reminder.
Thank you, Mabelle, let’s start the year with a grateful heart!
2020 was a wild ride filled with SO much pain and struggle for so many people. Turning the calendar page to 2021 doesn’t just automatically fix that and make everything magically better, but we’re on the right track and there’s light at the end of the tunnel. 2021 is a year of hope, for sure.
I resonate with the quote about not being great to start, but you have to start to be great. I just started a new volunteer position and I am excited to see my gifts being used in a brand new way.
It is good to have a fresh start this year. The pandemic has been so difficult and it is nice to have some things to look forward to.
i think we all need a fresh start this year!
We can only hope for a better year ahead.
