Honey Glazed Baked Salmon with Tomato and Orange Salsa

Honey Glazed Baked Salmon


2tbs lemon juice

2 tbs soy sauce

2 tbs Dijon mustard

2 tbs extra virgin olive oil


Salt and Freshly ground pepper


Mix together the lemon juice, soy sauce, honey, and mustard.  Whisk in the olive oil.  Lay the salmon on top and turn over to coat with the marinade.  Cover and set aside for 30 minutes.

Remove from the marinade and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until done.  Serve with tomato and orange salsa.

Tomato and Orange Salsa


2 navel oranges (cut each segment into 3)

One 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes, drained

½ cup chopped scallion

1/3 cup chopped cilantro

1 tsp cumin

¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

2 tbs extra virgin olive oil



Combine all ingredients and allow to stand about an hour


  1. I love Salmon! I haven’t tried any Salmon recipe before as I just grill it with garlic and sprinkle some herbs on it. This looks like a perfect recipe…I am going to try it out and let you know! 🙂

  4. My husband’s favorite food in the world is salmon so I need to make this one for him! I don’t know how to make it so he always ends up making it for himself. This will be a great surprise.

  5. I like how this looks! Casually, yesterday I was reading on my pregnancy app that salmon is the best way to get fatty acids like omega-3 and protein at the same time, as babies in the womb really need lots of it! I’ll let you know how it goes, the marinade sounds heavenly!
