This morning, one of my friends shared that quote about friendship with me. As I reflect on it, I realize, how blessed I have been to have the most amazing friends in my life. They are different and special to me. I will forever treasure their friendship.

I haven’t heard that quote before, but I really like it! I’ve seen some about how friends are in your life for a reason, some are there for life and others for a short time. I don’t remember the exact quotes, but it’s so true and I have to remember that when friendships fade away. My sister, even with how much we argued growing up, is one of my best friends. The other I’ve known even longer than my sister, we’ve been friends since I was days old since our moms have been friends since middle school.
Some will definitely fade away, Stephanie, and I always say they were part of our lives to teach us a lesson.

I always remember ‘you can choose your friends, not your family’ and it’s so true. I made a huge effort of shedding the ‘Friends’ I made at school in my teens, it was only at uni I realised what true friends were and am still great friends with them to this day. Your friends sound wonderful, I’m so happy you have a great support network.
