I just bought that Everything bagel seasoning and was eager to use it. In my fridge, I found some salmon which is perfect for that seasoning. The fish turned out so delicious that I decided to share the recipe.
This simple recipe is perfect for your Memorial Day gathering. You can just grill it and enjoy.
Everything Bagel Baked Salmon
Ingredients
1 lb. of salmon
Everything bagel recipe
Salt and pepper
Pepper flakes
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
In a small bowl combine everything bagel seasoning, salt, pepper, pepper flakes, and the zest of the lemon
Sprinkle the salmon with the seasoning mixture to coat.
Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the trout with the seed-side down and sear for about 3 minutes, then flip the salmon.
Sprinkle with the juice of a lemon then transfer the same pan into the oven and cook for another 5 minutes. I use lemon wedges to decorate.
The fish was really moist and delicious. Hope you enjoy this recipe and remember to share your thoughts with me!
That salmon looks lovely… I’ve never bought a seasoning mix before – I usually just use individual herbs and spices, but I may have to give them a try for days when we’re in a rush and I need to cook something quick!
Lately, I have been very adventurous with seasoning, Kate, and it’s my first using the Everything Bagel
I would have never thought to put bagel seasoning on fish! I just saw Everything Bagel seasoning at the store last week, but didn’t get it since I didn’t know what to use it for. I love bold flavors, so we are going to have to try this soon!
I did not know either, Stephanie, my next venture with it, will be making a bread, if it turns out good, will share the recipe on the blog.
I’m going to try this tonight! I LOVE this idea, and hadn’t thought of using the seasoning this way.
simple and easy, Julie
Just so you know Marjie… I would jump in front of a bus for salmon… And well, I would have done the same for everything bagels when I was a kid. So put the two together and you best believe this girl would RISK HER LIFE for this! hahahahaah! But seriously, I am drooling over here!! 😀
Just so you know, Gigi, you would not jump alone, I would be in front of you.
I want this 🙁 This looks so tasty. I will get that seasoning pack soon to make the recipe sooner and eat the yummy salmons .

That looks really good. I love everything bagels and salmon, so this is the perfect combination. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Danielle!
I have been seeing this seasoning mix all over the internet! I have it on my list to buy when I travel overseas as it is not available where I stay. That being said, your salmon looks delish! We make salmon in our house at least once a week and I am always on the lookout for new recipes!
I am going to try the seasoning with something else soon, Nadia, time for me to be adventurous.
