They say when it rains, it pours. For the past three weeks, it has been pouring an avalanche of hectic events in my life. In the midst of selling my house, everything was falling apart and I could not pick up the pieces. I have been running and turning around in vain. For one second, I was afraid of losing myself.
When you fall down there is nowhere else to go than up.
I paused and remembered a time where I was going through troubling waters, my faith was all I had and it helped me move forward. I gathered all my strength, stood up and faced the mountain of challenges.
Life can be hard and sometimes, the more we search for answers for why things happen to us, the less we understand. I just let it be. As for my family and I, all those difficult moments have brought us closer. As a unit, we fought together and lean on each other to overcome all the barriers.
Now I am claiming my sanity back as I’m seeing the light. It is time to enjoy the simple pleasures such as a walk in the park, read a book, cook, all those simple things that too often, we take for granted. Most of all, I am so grateful to be able to enjoy my blog and reconnect with all of you. I am back, I can breathe again, and I am stronger than before.
Next time, you are facing a challenge, reach out to love ones, talk to your family and friends, you will be surprised to find help where you would less expect it.

I’m sorry you’re going through hard times. Hold tight to your family and just know you will get through it together.
Thank you, Stephanie.
I’m sorry to hear that you were faced with troubling times. I too have been there and still feel as though I am still drowning. Leaning on family and remembering to enjoy the little things has certainly helped me and it sounds as though it helped you too. I wish you all the best and happy to hear that you can breathe again.
Laura, God always put people on our path to help us out, we will be okay.
Good for you. I think it is the time when you need to stop worrying and start enjoying your life.
Absolutely, Vy.
I am so glad that you are now stronger than before. Some challenges will knocked us down but we need to get back up. Challenges will make us better and stronger.
I agree, Regine, overcoming challenges make us stronger, better, and wiser.
I’m so sorry to hear you were hurting. You are bigger than this though and you will get through it!
Thank you, Holly!
Thank you for sharing something so personal. Yes faithis the key. I hope to connect with you on my blog. Take care.
Without my faith, I would be lost, Allyson, thank you.
I really like your perspective on the hard times you’ve been having. Your words ‘the more we search for answers for why things happen to us, the less we understand’ really resonated with me! Thank you for inspiring my with your posts.

Thank you so much, Faye, for your feedback.
I’m so sorry to hear about everything negative going on!! But your advice about reaching out to loved ones is spot on. Hopefully everything gets better more and more each day.
The struggles help us grow and bring us closer to our loved ones, thanks, Ashley.
I truly understand this post. I struggle as well to let things be but when I do, negativity doesn’t consume my mind and know that God is GOOD.
Livi,
God is Good all the times, even we don’t understand. Sometimes, as human, it’s hard to process, but I have learned in the difficult moments to “let go and let God”.
When it rains, it pours- at least that’s what they say. I won’t say nonsense here, because I hate when people say it to me, but I hope it ends for you soon and things get better.
Peace.
Thanks, Samantha!
I’m sorry to hear about everything going wrong in your life. But I honestly love your perspective. I wish that things will just get better from here.
Every painful situation is an opportunity to grow, thanks, Belle!
I hope life starts to fall back into place for you. It can be so hard to find balance and stay on top of things.
It can, Angela, each step back is an opportunity to grow.
Thank you for sharing this post. It is hard when things are spiraling to take a step back, reassess and reprioritize things. I am glad you have your faith and family, both are so important
Well said, Jane, thank you.
I completely feel what you were going through, I had those moments this year too where everything just felt like it was caving in even though I knew it would be alright.
We will both survive, Luna.
I love your openness in this post ! I would be lost without being able to call my Mom. Even when I think she couldn’t say anything to help the situation, she really does ❤
I agree, Natalie, having someone to lean, is priceless, even when they can’t help, but we know they are there for us.
Having a support system through hard times are so essential. I hope that things all look up for you now.
Thank you, Meagan.
Isn’t it amazing how the human spirit can bounce back after facing tough times? Happy to hear that you are enjoying the little things again and that you feel stronger than before. Thanks for your inspiring post!
Thank you, Jessica.
I am so glad to see you getting back on the horse!!! I am proud of you and yes… “this too shall pass”
We have all been in the valley at one time or another but girl…. let it his that armor and keep going!!
So well said, Whitney, this too shall pass. Thanks.
Hey MarjieMare,
I am so sorry you have been struggling. Whenever my husband and I are going through a hard time we always say that something amazing is just around the corner.
I have also found that during hard times if I write 30 things I am grateful every day that my trials don’t seem so hard. You got this!
Kara, I like that idea of writing things that we are grateful for, thanks so much.
I’m sorry you are going through hard times. I’ve been having a rough period myself. I always try to find gratitude for things in my life, especially when things are hard. It helps me see the bright side of things and to keep going.
Finding gratitude is rewarding and can help us move forward, thanks, Laura.
It can definitely be rough when it seems like everything is pouring down around you. Just remember that things always tend to get better!
So true, Becca, thanks a bunch.
Such a great outlook and I know how it feels to be drowning in personal and professional issues – we can only handle so much but it always helps talking to others who know how it feels ?
Absolutely, Cammeo, thanks for your kind words.
I relate so much. I am really struggleing with life right now too ♡
We will get through it, Sarah, one day at a time.
Sending you love and positive times. I’m going through hard times, myself. By the way, love these photos!
Thank you, Jazmin.
I love that you wrote “when you fall down there is nowhere else to go than up”. I needed to see this today. Thank you for that. Sometimes I get caught up and lose sight that tough times don’t last forever.
Absolutely, Heather, we have to find the strength within ourselves to go on.
Sorry to hear you’re going through tough times. It does seem like when things start to go wrong they all go wrong at once. Stay strong and keep fighting. It’ll get better.
Thanks, Tawnya.
