The holiday festivity is over and all my Christmas decorations are down, it’s time to get back to our daily activity. Although my older daughter is still enjoying her winter break, tomorrow I am going back to work and my younger one will resume school.
As always, dinner has to be quick, easy and delicious. Therefore, I made some delicious and juicy pork chops which I served with sautéed green beans and potato au gratin. The pork chops were delicious and this is how I made them.
What I used
6 boneless pork chops
2 tbs olive oil
2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons salt-free steak seasoning
Salt and pepper
1 large onion
2 tomatoes
1 green bell pepper
½ cup of chicken stock
½ cup wine
Preparation
Sprinkle the pork chops with the steak seasoning, salt, and pepper evenly on both sides.
Preheat a large nonstick pan with about 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the pork chops and cook for a couple minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove them to a plate and set them aside.
In the same pan, add the remaining olive oil, add the onions, tomatoes, and the bell pepper. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce the heat to medium and cook until the onions are tender. Add the chicken stock, the wine, and the brown sugar. Bring to a boil. Add the pork chops and cook for another 5 to 7 minutes. Flip them halfway thru to ensure they cook evenly.
Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family did. Let me know what do you usually serve with your pork chops.
Looks like a delicious meal! It’s nice to have some recipes for hearty meals, especially for when we are entertaining. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
Thank you, Marysa!
I love a good pork chop. This sounds like such a nice meal and a perfect dinner time x
It was the perfect dinner, Rhian!

Hope he likes the recipe, Mattel!
I bet the bell pepper really added some great flavor to that! My mom makes something similar with pork loin and cream cheese. I honestly love all the different things you can do with pork!
Same here, Jennifer!
This looks like a perfectly cooked dish! I bet my husband would love this creative recipe 🙂
You never know, Gena, try and let us know.

It was yummy and we enjoyed it for you, Lisa!
That looks delicious. And pork is such an affordable meat to stock up on, we eat porkchops like crazy. Always looking for new pork recipes.
It was delicious, Shane!
Brown sugar is always good on pork chops! My boys started back at school today, too. We did a slow cooker meal tonight to make it something easy as we get back in the swing of everything.
One of my cousins put brown sugar in most of her meats and it’s pretty good, Stephanie!
I am going to pin this and try this. I never really liked pork chops because they are too dry for me but this looks delicious. I’ve never heard of adding wine to it!!!
Hope you like it, Jessie!
My husband LOVES pork chops. Thanks so much for this awesome recipe, I’ll definitely be making it for him.
I truly hope he likes it, Krysten!
This sounds like a great meal. We don’t eat meat, but this is a handy recipe for when we have family over for dinner…
It sure is.
I haven’t eaten meat for over 3 years but I love cooking for the family! It’s such a great thing to be able to do to bring everyone together.

Rosie, I tried to refrain from meat and I failed so miserably. This one thing I failed and the foodie in me has no regret.
My other half would love this home cooked meal. I am a veggie, so perhaps could try with tofu xx
You should share some tofu recipe with me, Melanie!
I really love a perfectly cooked pork chop! They are so good! I will be trying this asap!
Hope you like it, Lauren!
Oh, Marjie, yum! We eat pork/pork chops at least once a week, because it’s the only dinner meat my girls don’t mind leftover for school lunches. Our dinners are pretty much always a salad/protein/grain/other veggie, so that’s what goes with it!
I can relate, I have 2 picky girls, Flossie, and I try to make simple and delicious meals for them.
It looks delicious and just enough to whet the appetite. Buon appetito!
It was delicious, Elizabeth.
Sounds pretty damn delicious to me!
You got it right, Christopher!
